Wedding Photos Customer Comment November 2010

"I have to first say AMAZING! WONDERFUL to work with, great with everyone, will get the shot of a lifetime! I was so nervous that day as every bride is but Nancy made me feel at ease and calmed my nerves! She felt like part of the family instead of just a photographer..... She is where my family photos will be for the wonderful yrs to come! THANK YOU NANCY for making my day feel just as important to you as it was to me!"

Class of 2011 - Clothing Tips for Amazing Senior Portraits

Senior picture time is right around the corner, so now is a good time to think about what you want to wear! Here are a few tips to help you choose the most flattering clothes to wear in your Senior Portraits:

• Choose a variety of different outfits. It's a good idea to include both casual and more formal outfits in your senior portraits.

• Your face should be the focal point of your portraits. Long sleeve solids or very subtle prints are usually the most becoming in portraits.

• On dark backgrounds, medium to dark clothes look best.

• On light colored backgrounds, medium to light colors look the best.

• For outdoor portraits, earth tones work best.

• Try to avoid dressing overly trendy. Stick with traditional styles to keep your portrait from becoming “dated” too quickly.

• Don’t forget to bring shoes & socks for each outfit that you plan to wear, as some poses will show your shoes!

• Avoid busy patterns and loud colors as these can be very distracting in your portraits. Remember, large & bold patterns can draw attention away from your face.

Booking Your Photographer

As  you all know, Wedding, Prom and Senior Picture season is only a few months away. Now is the time to book  your photographer for those special occasions in  your life! For weddings, it could be too late to book for the Spring/Summer season, but there are still available dates, so feel free to contact me if you're looking!

Senior Pictures come at the height of the wedding season, so it's a good idea to start looking around now (that mean's you Junior's!). I'm also available for excellent Prom pictures as well.

Make sure to pick someone that is qualified at what you're looking for, and that  you feel comfortable with them. There's nothing worse than hiring a photographer that doesn't listen to what You want, and that doesn't take the time to really understand what you're looking for. So shop around! Be comfortable and confident in who you choose to capture those precious moments in your life!

Until next time, Keep Smiling and May God's Face Shine Upon You!! :)
